Versatile and Way More Durable Than I Expected!
CharPriscilla✓ Verified PurchaseOctober 2, 2023
I really wasn't expecting to love these as much as I do. They are way more durable than I thought they would be!
Perfect for homemade baby food and small school lunch snacks. Already have washed them several times and they wash very well. I haven't put them in the dishwasher because I feel like they would just fly around being so light and I don't have a dishwasher basket big enough for them.
They work great in the freezer and hold up in the microwave (although I've only had them in there for 20 seconds at the most).
My only advice is make sure they are completely snapped shut all the way around. I go around them several times with my fingers but that's okay with me because they have a great seal when the lid is tightly snapped in. I have had zero issues with leaking.
Also, I only fill with 2 (2.5 at most) ounces when freezing baby purees (as suggested by another buyer) because they expand when frozen.
They work great for salad dressings and small snacks for my older children's lunches.
They don't come with a ton of labels but for the price I'll make my own!
I'm planning on using some for sorting my daughter's teeny tiny toy accessories as well.
Good for homemade baby food

These containers are working really well for storing homemade baby food (purees) and sending them to daycare. The package comes with sticker labels, which I really liked until I washed one and it dissolved. Now I just use them without the labels. We wash them in the dishwasher and they always come our perfectly clean an undamaged. The only durability issue we've had is that the little tab on the lid bent back on a few when we weer trying to open them and broke off of one. I don't think this is that big of a deal though since these are technically disposable (but can be reused very well) and they come in such a big pack. Will probably re-buy if our current batch wears out (but that may be a long time - we've been using for a couple of months and have only thrown one away so far).
Absolutely love them

I make my son's food and needed a good container for storage and to send with him to his sitter everyday. These are perfect for storing my son's food and traveling with his food. You get so many in the box and I love that they are reusable and dishwasher friendly. I freeze my son food as well and they hold up great in the freezer. I haven't had any issues with leakage either. I love these and would definitely buy again. Great value for the cost too.
and I've reused them multiple times already for a great savings. I only have 2 comments to help ...

These have worked very well for me. They are dishwasher safe which is convenient, and I've reused them multiple times already for a great savings. I only have 2 comments to help other users:

1. Be sure that they are fully sealed before freezing. Sometimes they appear closed but are not actually sealed. Make sure to double check and press down all around the lid. If not completely sealed you may experience freezer burn and a loss of freshness.
2. The only breaks I have experienced are when dropping a container that has frozen baby food in it from about 3-4 feet. This caused the plastic to crack, but is to be expected due to the increased pressure of the frozen substance pushing against it in combination with the force of hitting the floor at high impact. I've let one slip out of my hands onto the counter while frozen (less than a foot drop) and it was fine. Dropping one without stuff in it was also fine.
Love these. I use every one over and over

I use these to freeze my parrot's fresh food supply into daily doses for a week or two at a time. And I've started to find that I love using them for other things too! Sause, left over garlic butter, making aioli, freezing oil and herbs, taking a snack with me.

First off. They are not meant to last forever... but I only lose one every so often to wear and tear or what not.
There are some tips though to get the best experience and longevity:
1) they ARE completely leak proof... if they are ACTUALLY closed. There are 4 locations around the lid you have to tamp down. And the thing double clicks. The first click lightly closes the lid, the second click seals it. Some other reviews posted pictures of this. I find a double check helps and I'm all good.
2) if you freeze them, warm them a little before opening. I've only lost one from the freezer and it was because I tried to open it straight out. The lid can be a little brittle before it warms up. So run it under water for 3 or 4 seconds THEN go ahead and open it. I haven't broken any since.
3) press under the tab with a thumb a bit while you pull it up. I find it helps open them. If you're looking for super easy open, these might be hard for you. I find they open with an acceptable amount of effort since I'm prizeing seal over easy open.
4) have an easy place you can stack them and always return them there. They will drive you nuts if you just put them in a drawer loose, but they stack until each other and pack away real surprisingly tight.
