Just doesn't work as outlined....

This is a very needed and useful item, but it is depended on the type of stove you have and how the knobs are designed. I needed something to prevent the knobs from turning as I walked pass the stove to exit the kitchen. These clips did not do this totally. It was a bit more difficult to completely turn the knobs but it doesn't take the knob to be completely turned for the gas to flow and that is my issue. I think these clips will work on certain stoves but not all.
These work great for keeping our 17 month old grandson from turning ...

Easy to install and worked well. I got these to prevent my dogs from accidentally turning on the gas or lighting the burner if they try to sniff at the stove. When in place, the clips prevent the knobs from being pushed or turned. They're easy to remove when you're ready to cook. My stove has a very narrow space between the knobs and the stove itself, but these clips still fit.

Had to use for an LG gas range because the normal safety knobs wouldn't fit. I find these easier to use because you can just slide them out of the way, no annoying tabs or anything

If you have removable knobs, you'll probably accidentally pop them off. A lot. That's all fine and dandy, but now that my toddler sees how these go on, and the bright color of them, she just has to try and do them and that sorta defeats the purpose.
Maybe if they matched the color of my stove/knobs (black), she wouldn't be so interested in them.
Though, being a gas stove, when they are in place I feel a lot better that we aren't going to have the gas on accidentally - which has happened with small kids and tight spaces.
If other knob protectors haven't worked for you, definitely try these.
I don't regret purchasing them at all. I just wish I had a solution to the tot having such an interest in it.
