This was for my boyfriend's bike. Did not fit the post. Thought all bikes were universal. Not. I took it for my bike and it's OK. Not really much better than the over- the- seat pad that I already had. Disappointment for my boyfriend.

GOOD .... IN THEORY .... but apparently it is for only temporary use , until finding a suspension seat made well .

Well .... I can't return it and I've only had it 4 months . Initially it worked as expected and had great suspension on ruff terrain. That changed a week ago when one side of the saddle collapsed, leaving an un exceptable seat . The spring on the underside basically separated from it's cradle, keeping the spring stationary. So now I have replaced this seat with the initial seat that I had wanted to replace .
Most comfortable bike seat I have ever sat on.
