Amazingly powerful for a rechargeable leaf blower!!! You can stop shopping and buy this one if you value your time. (:

There are so many different leaf blowers on the market and the reviews are so all over the place that the first time my hubby and I looked for a new one, we gave up in confusion and I kept using my ancient Black & Decker rechargeable. Even with two batteries, though, it took forever to clean up all the concrete around our house which I do almost daily. I decided to look again and buy this Toro brushless unit even though it's way heavier than the others. After a time or two using it I don't even notice the weight and I'm a petite gal at 5'0" and only 95 pounds. If I can use it anyone can. I get my work done in a fraction of the time and have never come close to running out of charge.
works / UPDATE Doesn't work.

Have had this for a small amount of time. It is not as powerful as the corded variety but it gets the job done on sidewalks and lawns. The battery seems to last longer than my jobs too and it recharges quickly. Update. From 5 to 1. After 6 months the battery does what others say it does; It stops working. Charge light goes to 2 battery voltage is 37.5V which is about right but as soon as the motor starts it cuts out. Just like an overcurrent. I pulled the battery apart and found it was open to the elements and the board corroded. There appeared to be no coating over the electronic parts so any moisture and gunk will cause shorts. I don't have the schematic and wouldn't bother to troubleshoot it anyway but my guess is that the corrosion is what damaged my unit. Who knows what little electronic part is bad but I am sure one or more is. So it looks like the battery venting coupled with the apparent cheap manufacturing technique can cause problems if there is moisture in the area. I can not imagine not designing a piece of lawn equipment to be moisture resistant or moisture proof. I don't think I can recommend this any more. And with an $89 battery that costs more than some other complete units, it just isn't worth it.
This thing is awesome! The battery charges quickly

This thing is awesome! The battery charges quickly, in about 20/30 minutes. The air flow is powerful enough to quickly move dry leaves. Wet leaves not so much, and drains the battery quickly. It's not as heavy as a blower with a gas motor, so it doesn't wear your arm out as you use it. Comes with different attachments. Would definitely buy again, much easier than using a broom
This blower is great for home use

This blower is great for home use. The battery holds a charge very well and it recharges very quickly (about 30 minutes). The charge indicator lights on the battery allows you to know how much battery you have left. The Turbo lever gives you the ability to blow heavier lawn debris. It is so nice to use a clean energy product without having to use a gas/oil mixture!!!!
Handy and Very Powerful

Lots of power. Pushed maple leaves into piles for the leaf mulching machine instead of having to rake. Even pushed wet leaves. Takes some getting used to if rounding up scattered leaves, like herding cats across Texas, but loves leaves one or two feet deep. Only lasts about 15 minutes on a charge but gets a lot done in that time. The gutter cleaning attachment was very awkward to use but got the job done. Luckily I have gutters fairly close to the ground.
