Exactly What I Was Looking For!!

Gets pretty warm in my garage during the summer time. It faces west and the sun shines right in. Needed something to help cool the place down some. Found these fans on the internet and decided to give them a try. The Size is what I was looking for, not too big, but not too small either. Moves a lot of air and the (#1) Slow setting is pretty fast, compared to other fans I've come across. I bought 2 of them, one for each side of my garage. Unfortunately, one of them squeaks as it oscillates. But I just ignore it and enjoy the kooler air. Wish the mounting was easier to do. Would of been better to have a mount that attaches to the wall and have the fan just slide into the mount, and secured with a screw or 2. Other than that, these work great!!

We purchased this fan as Hurricane Irma was projected to make landfall in our area. We lost power for 5 days and this fan powered by our generator was a huge lifesaver. It moved the hot and humid air around. Fan puts out a lot of power and the price is right.

When we receive the fan, the speed selector switch was already broken. But since we were going to mount it in our garage and basically leave it at one speed, I disassembled the fan and selected the medium speed with a screwdriver then reassembled it. It worked fine until mid September, basically two months, when the fan oscillation mechanism chewed through the gear. I have since locked the fan into a singular position. This is an extremely low quality product

I ordered this the first of August and I've just gotten the time to open the box and put it together. Which, is very easy. This is my second Hurricane fan. I liked the first one so we'll that I got an additional one for my garage. After putting it together and breaking down the box, I plugged it in and when I went to disengage the oscillator, I noticed that tgere was no knob. It arrives broken and I can't stop it from oscillating. I found the other piece of the knob in the bag. I really would just like a replacement knob, as I can't ship it back now!
