The only chair leg -floor protectors that would stay on.

The shaping of these protectors stay on my dining chair legs. I did have to put a spot of glue in the cup to help with adhesion. My wood floors are rather, maybe very, rough. Regular flat pads came right off. These also, eventually came off so I put a spot of Elmer's glue inside the middle of the cup and the stay on now.
**Also when they slide, because the felt wraps up the chair leg a tad so that whe you tip the chair slightly to slide out, the floor is still protected!
Also, they have a plastic back inside the cup that seems to make these more durable and when they wear out, the wood chair let is not right against the floor, the plastic insert is not as harsh as wood on wood sliding. It makes a different sound and you know it's time to replace the pad, like car brake wear warnings.
I keep them in stock in my house.

Stays on & protects wood floor

Exactly what I wanted! Other felt pads slip to one side and the chair legs drag on the floor. These fit well, stay on, and slide easily without shifting.
Stays on, works well

These sliders work very well. They are a bit tight to put on because they fit a 1 inch chair leg exactly. They don't come off. Don't forget to remove the paper on the sticky pad inside. I had used these in the past when I was able to get them at a local store. They lasted and had enough pad to keep my floors nice. When I could no longer get them I bought another brand that started to scratch my LVT. They didn't have the thick pad. So I was glad to be able to get this brand again.
Floor saver

Does a nice job not ruining our LVF. The tape to hold them in place wasn't the best. We use Gorilla Glue dots instead. We demand a lot from our chairs.
These work great!

I had been searching for something like this to fit over the little plastic piece on the bottom of a chair leg that would actually stay in place. The flat ones always slid off within a few days but these have not budged since putting them on two chairs and four stools over a month ago. They are great and I will never use the flat ones again unless forced to!
