I bought one of these a few years ago. It recently stopped working. These don't require internet or a phone connection, so from time to time the device might be out of range of what I think are the cell phone towers that it uses for a signal. Because of this, there are limitations to how helpful the device can be. But having it and my cell phone with me makes me feel more secure, and most of the time it gets a signal. It hangs by a detachable string that can be placed around the neck like a necklace. It's small enough fora purse or pocket but be careful as that might set off the call button on it. Once in a while that happened to me.

The three batteries they sent with the product were all leaking!!!! Someone packed that order in their sleep. The product is good. The people you hire not so much!!!
