I have butcher block countertops and I live in a dry climate. I previously tried another product but it was not effective...I was having to constantly reapply. I cook a lot so my counters get a LOT of use and the previous product didn't seem to do hardly anything. It also didn't list the ingredients so it was a mystery (it is actually labeled as "mystery oil") as to what I was putting on my counters. Not good. I LOVE this product. The ingredients are listed as food-grade mineral oil and the conditioner has the addition of beeswax and carnauba wax. My countertops have never looked better. I don't have to apply nearly as often. I usually season them every 4 months or so (maybe more in the summer) with the oil and then follow up with the conditioner. For quick applications, I just quickly wipe the conditioner over any trouble spots. Great product for a great value! It's worth every penny.
