This item works well but the Velcro strip that is used to go around the upper waist needs to be tampered as when it is the sane width as the band that gives around the upper waist is hard to line up the Velcro strip and any that is not lined up perfectly the Velcro snags the fabric on the shirt one is wearing under this item and has ruined my brand new athletic workout shirt, its now a rag. I was not happy about this and when you are one handed its very hard to line it up perfectly. The band that goes around the upper arm seems to be backwards as far as the Velcro goes as I cannot get it strapped around my upper arm by myself, my husband has to do it fore me and he even said it would be impossible for me to do it myself if he wasn't around. I would have to put my arm through the band first then try to adjust it before I put the band around my chest which would be hard to do and get it perfectly placed as not to snag your cloths. The band that goes around your wrist works good,, no problem there. This item needs to be redesigned to eliminate these problems and would be perfect.

We purchased this for my 91 year old mother who was wearing a sling with a waist strap for shoulder immobilization. The neck strap was driving her crazy. We put this on her and she was SO relieved and grateful. She is sleeping much better and more comfortable all day long with this immobilizer.

I have a torn rotator cuff and can't have surgery for several weeks. I was in so much pain before wearing this brace. It keeps my arm exactly where it needs to be to avoid straining it. Very comfortable and lightweight. Easy to wash! super happy with it!
