They are very useful l. I don't use them for beach towels, I use them for yarn bobbins when I crochet. They are made of thin plastic so you get what you pay for.

Works great, 10 days of vacation and nothing broke. Kept the towels down and they did not blow away. Also helps find our pool chairs around the pool.

After YEARS of cruising, I finally bought these for a recent trip, and now I'm not sure what I ever did without them. They're great for clipping towels so they don't flap or slip, but also perfect for clipping gym clothes or bathing suits to balcony chairs to dry. We also used them to clip our room curtains closed for maximum room-darkening in the morning. They're light but very sturdy, and I see years of use in our future, both home and away.

I was expecting more strong plastic. I live top of the hill and get very windy here. I feel like this will break along with towel blows by wind. Good thing I gets lots of extra though. Maybe good use for climate with no wind.
