I love kitchen gadgets and so does my husband, so when "Santa" needed to find a stocking stuffer, this fit the bill. It works amazingly well--and I had the benefit of drinking the left over juice out of the pineapple after my husband pulled the fruit out. My husband was so excited after using it for the first time and shouted "it works, it works". Well, maybe not quite as enthusiastically as I just typed it, but he was definitely happy. I was, too, since these gadgets don't always work the way you'd hope.

This corer works great! Nice and thick metal that cuts easily into any pineapple that I've bought with no problems. Sharp blade cuts great and pineapple rings come out perfect. Perfect sized handle that stays on tight. I no longer buy canned pineapple as this corer does a great job and is fun to use. Cleans easily and slices slide off with no problems. I highly recommend this corer if you never had one before or are looking for a sturdy upgrade.
You won't be disappointed.

I love this tool. Easy to use, cut the top off, place the tool on the cut side/top and start turning. Little effort is required. The hull of the pineapple makes a great rum punch holder afterwards, great for parties.
Sturdy, easy to use, a must have.

Love it. I have only used it 3 times so far and it is very easy. Now I dont think twice to buy a pineapple :).
Simple to use, simple to clean. This is supposed to be the "updated" version but I have not used the older one so no idea if its true or not.
Regardless, very sturdy and works great.

Great tool. Makes quick work of a pineapple, sliced uniformly with very little waste, based on size of pineapple. After cutting pineapple by hand this is a delightful tool to use. Easy to clean and sturdy.
