This press is well made, and the logo isn't obnoxious (I'd still rather it was on the bottom rather than the body, but it isn't too bad). The handle is comfortable and very solid. It cleans up like a dream. One thing that could make this unit just a tiny bit better would be a pour indicator in the lid. You have to stare into the spout to see when you're at the pour area. Not a deal breaker, but a tiny indicator mark would be terrific. Super happy all in all.

I hadn't had much expectation about this product, but I was willing to try it because I'm an avid consumer of French press coffee. However I was tired of the delicate crystal of the French press maker. So I look if there were any alternative of the classic glass to something more resistant. That's how I found this product and I can't be more happy. It's strong and elegant. I definitely love it!!!

My decades old french press broke. It was glass with a plastic handle. Worked fine for years and years. When I started looking for a new one I was amazed at all the different styles, shapes and material choices. I have an Aeropress with a stainless pot and have to be careful not to touch the metal even with the neoprene cozy on it. I had to be careful with the old french press for the same reason. Hot water in glass is hot! I found insulated ones that were not my style. Everything with straight handles and cylindrical pots. I like classic curves and when I saw this press I put it on my list. I couldn't find anything better on other shopping sites so I bought it.
It is so well designed and a beautiful coffee pot. I have it on my desk right now and have been smiling while I drink hot coffee. It is nice enough to put on the table for guests. Being stainless steel is a bonus because I am sure it will last and not break while washing it like the old french press. The lid turns so you can pour or turn to keep the coffee warm in the press.
It also made wonderful smooth coffee that I am enjoying while writing this. Pouring from it is so nice. I love the feel of the curved handle and it is so easy to pour compared to my old one.

One day, hubs got the brilliant idea that HE was going make us coffee in the FP. He had never a desire to do so, but I got some new smelly coffee that tickled his senses and he left the Folgers Instant on the shelf. I hadn't cleaned the pot since the day before. He comes over and grabs it just as I was going to put a little water in the bottom to loosen the ground from the day before. He announces that he thinks he has a BETTER way of cleaning the pot and before I can inquire just what that was, he's outside with the pot and I hear, "CLINKY-, CLINK-CLINK...!!!!"

And then, "Why didn't you tell me that the glass wasn't attached to the plastic handle?????"
OF COURSE IT'S MY FAULT THAT HE BROKE THE CARAFE. Men!

I calmly asked, "In the eight years that I have had this coffee pot, how many times have you ever seen me put on shoes and take it outside to dump out the grounds...?"

I went right to Amazon with his Visa. Done and dusted. Prime delivery. I love this little FP. The coffee stays hot a whole lot longer than the glass ones. The shape is very cute, too.
