I was skeptical upon ordering despite the overwhelming rave reviews. I'm a red wine drinker, mostly Cabs, Pinots, and blends. I tried the wand first on a bottle of California Pinot Noir. I had two good pours with no ill effect whatsoever.
Not knowing that this could be a placebo effect the following week I had some friends over. We steeped the wand about 10 minutes in one glass of Cabernet, the other was straight out of a bottle. Upon tasting all three of us noticed a huge difference in filtered glass. IT was smoother and much more drinkable. To be fair we aerated both pours and still, the wand came out way on top.
This product really works, as a matter of fact, it works too good. After the first box, I can't imagine drinking wine without the wand.

These work! I haven't been able to drink red wine in twenty-five plus years! My throat would itch from histamines. I would have given this a 5-star but didn't because the price point is too high. This is something I'd only buy for a special occasion when I want red wine. I'd totally purchase again if price point changed or you came out with another product that was more expensive but reusable.

The only reason i give it 4 stars is the price. You have to open one for each glass and it makes your $6,7,8,9,10+ glass of wine quite pricey. Just seems they could be more cost effective.
