Purchased the 7-speed version - I'll give the bike 5 stars as it has everything I want and nothing I don't: classy but not showy with hand brakes and gears to handle the gentle local hills. LOVE the handlebars and the seat! Overall I would give this a 4.5-star rating but that is not an option on Amazon. The 4 stars come from the assembly. While I can see putting together the one-speed would be easy-peasy (and the instruction booklet seemed to be written that way with amendments for the brakes and gear assembly), this was less so for the 7-speed. The brake handles were connected to the handlebar which I am grateful, but then the handlebar was flopping around while I tried to install the front tire. I ended up installing the handlebar first which made installing the front tire much easier. Sometimes the bolts didn't look like the picture in the assembly guide or they were located in a different box - I'm guessing again that perhaps parts for the 7-speed look different that part for the one-speed (?) It ended up all fine, but a suggestion to write specific instructions for the multi-speed versions and make assembly a little easier? For instance, the front brake pads need to be loosened significantly before inserting the front tire. The company has done a good job of providing very straightforward instructions so they just need to carry this forward in assembling the multi-speed varieties.

I really do like this bike. It is beautiful and I get tons of compliments on the color of the bike. However there were some minor issues.

Firstly, when the bike shipped, the front tire was slightly bent. I emailed the company. and they responded very quickly and sent me a replacement wheel very quickly. So 5 star for that. But when the bike ships, the back tire and brake system is already pre-assembled. My friend had to readjust the back brakes because the brake pads were rubbing against the tire constantly. So If you do purchase this bike, I would take it to a bike shop or someone who knows bikes to get it adjusted regarding the brake system.

Painted parts were well protected from the abuse the exterior carton suffered during FedEx shipping. I was concerned that something would be damaged or missing when I saw the size of the holes in the box, but all parts were included and not damaged! This bike could not be easier to assemble. Basically, all you have to do is attach the front wheel, seat, handle bars and pedals. All tools are included except a Phillips screwdriver and a pair of scissors. Took about 30 minutes to do and that included reading the simple instructions and unpacking the box! You could probably cut that in half if you used a wrench or socket instead of the multi-tool provided. I would recommend getting some grease before assembly. It is recommended, but you won't know that until you get started. It's a very smooth ride, with a comfortable seat and easy to pedal, but the handlebars are the best of all. Nice and wide, placing zero pressure on hands and wrists! Would definitely recommend this bike!

I'm 5'2, 150Lbs and this bike is perfect for the size. It is super lightweight and beautiful color. I got the one speed in Coral. I never owned a bike as a child so I was scared to fall and break my head. I recently purchased the Huffy Cruiser from Walmart but it was too heavy and difficult for me since I am not experienced. I only had the huffy for 2 weeks when I decided to order this one. It arrived in perfect condition and mostly assembled. I have no handy-man skills whatsoever, so I greatly appreciated that you can contact the company VIA FaceTime, Google Hangout and have a mechanic help you put it together. I absolutely love it. I highly recommend this bike for anyone who likes to cruise down the boardwalk or go on long flat rides at the park. I'm using it to commute to work but I work less than 3 miles away. This is perfect. I added a large basket in the back to carry my work bag, 12lbs Yorkie or groceries.

I love my new bike! At age 46, I wanted a comfortable bike to ride around with my family where I sat upright, had a few gears, and was light enough for me to lift onto the bike rake. Total success! The best features are: how comfy the seat feels, the chain rail cover and the paint job. I was also so pleased to find that the handlebars and the handbrakes were adjustable to my exact specifications. Unfortunately, the seat fell off and I fell on my 1st long ride when I swerved to miss a toddler, but that was due to assembly error not manufacturing. Luckily, I was able to quickly reassemble it myself after walking home and resume my ride.
