Great Product - Save cleaning time!!!

As a new pool owner, this was the best money I have spent so far on pool accessories. It is absolutely amazing how quick and easy it is to remove leaves from the bottom of the pool. The net is designed to enable one pass at collecting leaves from the bottom of the pool. As a bonus, the net has quickly collected an AirPod or two [multiple times] from the bottom of the deep end of the pool. I should have learned my lesson by now not to have my AirPods too close to the pool, but it happens. The Pro-Tuff net scooped up my AirPod and the AirPods still work fine. If Pro-Tuff expands their product lines I will be one of the first to buy. I was considering lower cost products, at first, but the other reviews were good and the lifetime warranty was a great selling point. I doubt I will need to use the lifetime warranty since the net and poles are very well made.

I received my new leaf and silt rakes today and put them to use straight away. I'm very impressed with the quality of these, as I have been with any product I've purchased from ProTuff.
I would like to offer a couple of suggestions, however.
First, I have a brush from ProTuff that has the button on it that allows the retaining pins to easily be depressed for putting it on and taking it off the pole. These two items lack such a button. Not a huge deal, but I'm spoiled in having it on my brush.
Second, I would like to see a small, weighted piece added to the mesh bags so that when you flip it over to empty it, the weight helps to push the mesh out, making it easier to empty. I had a older mesh rack that finally became torn and that was a very handy thing to have, especially when emptying the bag with very light items (like bugs or grass).
Otherwise, I'm very happy with my purchase and look forward to using them for many years.

Sturdy construction, fit my old pole, and cleans well. Don't see anything getting through the mesh. Scoops bottom debris fine, though no better than my previous cheaper net. It's a stiffer mesh that requires a slightly different flip/dump technique.

I'm a little late in my review as I purchased these products back in April 2018. Here we are in May of 2023 and I've been using them for over 5 years now. I bought them because I hadn't seen any like it when it comes to fine mesh to pick up silt and fine particles. I have a dog who swims a lot and wanted to be able to sift thru the water and get the dog hair as well as the organic matter that is pollen and all the nitty gritty plant matter from the spring winds. These nets have been great! Recently I noticed one the nets, the white mesh one has somehow torn near the plastic ring. I'm not sure how as I keep it hung up when not in use. I went online looking for a new net not remembering if I purchased on Amazon and saw it was offered still. I didn't really want to spend the amount compared to the basic nets you can pick up anywhere but I have been very satisfied with this net. As I was looking over the product info I saw the lifetime warranty, something I either don't recall or forgot about. I was able to register my products that I purchased back in 2018 and the website was even able to pull up my order number from Amazon! I registered, filed a claim in the net that needs to be replaced. Today is the day after filing said claim and I've already been notified it's shipped! It might be a little more than you want to spend BUT, you get what you pay for!

Great product with incredibly easy replacements

I originally purchased this product 09/24/2019 from Amazon and chose the product based on its durability. I live in Central Texas and we use the pool nearly year-round and the sun exposure to pool products, especially during the summer, causes quite a bit of accelerated sun-damage. I notice the product came with a "lifetime warranty" but sort of dismissed it to believing that the company would simply charge me exaggerated "shipping and handling" costs to pay for the "free replacement" when needed. After using the product year round for 3 years, the product needed replacement. Out of curiosity, I clicked on the replacement link from the company and fortunately had registered my product at the time of purchase. I noticed that the replacement was not only free, but that the company was shipping it to me for free and with the option to expedite the shipping to me in 3 days at no extra cost to me. I received the new skimmer in 3 days at no cost and I was truly impressed! I am now converting over to their other pool products as needed. Great product with a great warranty! I'm a fan.
