This thing is SOLID! With the rake and 1 point lift attached my ATV is sagging in the back. So much that even with the rake on the highest mounting point it would not lift off the ground! I was able to find a cheap hi-lo hitch extender at Harbor Freight that I shortened to make work. With the extra 6" height from the hi-lo mount the rake now works as designed.

I am using this rake to help clear my lot of brush, sticks, and limbs after loggers went through... well beyond what it is designed to to. It is so far performing very well. I definitely recommend this tool, just be aware that you may need to engineer a higher mounting system if you have a light duty atv like me, or a low mounted utv hitch.

First of all, this thing is HEAVY! But it's super easy to put together like a big erector set. My problems began when I went to actually install it onto the hitch adapter. The hitch on my Grizzly is TOO LOW for this unit. No matter what I did to raise the hitch to get clearance and crank the lift up as far as it would go.......I was still not able to get the cultivator off the ground. So I detached it, added a 3 way hitch to gain lift, TURNED THE WHOLE LIFT AROUND, and installed it that way. That gave me the lift I needed plus the clearance needed to still be able to turn the lift/lower handle without hitting the back cargo rack. Like others have noted, this is a very sloppy linkage to begin with, so with the added hitch it just gets sloppier. But as you can see from the photos it still does the job I needed it for - busting up grassy over grown raised beds. The ground is uneven, I suspect once I get it flat things will move much smoother. Even though it didn't go on easily and I had a bit of a panic when it wasn't setting right, I don't regret this purchase and it sure beats doing all this by hand! If you're looking to do harder and more in depth work, I strongly suggest a 3 point solid hitch for the attachments.

I bought this to use on my 27hp 4210 tractor. No way I'd bother trying to use this on an ATV/UTV. As such- I'm treating this review as an attachment for a tractor with a 3pt.

It has worked exactly as intended for cleaning up sticks up to 2" and heavy leaves a few times per year. No issues with the tines despite snagging roots here and there- though I don't buy that they are spring steel.

Things of note:

As others have stated- this has a 2" RECEIVER mount. You'll need a 2" piece of heavy wall square tube to connect this. This is a plus IMO because you can make the tongue section as long as you need to suit the task. I went 4' so I could use it to reach under tree rows. It also means you can use it with your front loader if you have a 2" receiver mount plate.

The tilt release/latch is hinkey- and since I'm using this with a 3pt it's unnecessary. I "locked" this function out by replacing the hinge with bolts and nylock nuts.

Use it for what it is. These sell for less than 1/3 of a used landscape/rock/stick rake does. It's not gonna pull regular duty as an arena rake, it's not a root ripper, a plow, or stand up to repeated heavy use. It's a homeowner grade tool that performs well when used accordingly.

Battery powered impact or electric ratchet will be your best friend. If you do want to use the tilt latch- pay careful attention to the instructions upon assembly (trust me and just bolt the thing on solid).

I have a gravel driveway that is around 1,300 ft. (400 meters) in length. After awhile the gravel gets pushed to the side of the driveway and needs to be re-leveled. This MotoAlliance Impact Implements Pro 3-Position Blade works well for my use. I've used it perhaps three times since purchasing it and it is holding up well.

Overall, I'm pretty pleased with this blade. If offers good utility at a reasonable price.
