This remote works just as good as the original one that came with the fan. I just popped in the battery and started using it. The remote just happened to be programmed with the code that matched our fan, so I didn't have to do anything to it. Well worth the money.

this thing worked great. I was a bit concerned due to the comments in the reviews about pairing with the fan. No it didn't come with instructions but it was no problem at all, something readily and easily found online both in written and youtube video form though I guess I'll give it 4 VS 5 due to lack of instructions
