- •Hate boring, cold coffee? Us too. Our huge capacity kit is vacuum-layered and double-filtered for flavor fuller than a centipede's sock drawer and a toasty brew for longer. Oh yeah, you even get a mini canister for storing your next caffeine hit
- •Keep coffee (or tea) warm for 60 minutes longer than glass. 304 stainless steel is 33% thicker and 20% heavier than the competition. A cool touch handle protects your hands and the spring-loaded, double-screen filter brews a cleaner cup
- •Professional-grade in every way. This brewer is tough, durable and rust proof. Unlike glass it won't break when you drop it (but your floor might need some attention). Your search for coffee that makes you smile every time ends here

Didn't Disappoint

I bought this when my original french press was senselessly and brutally put out of commission when my cat knocked it off the counter, shattering its glass body into many, many pieces. I doubt the same will occur with this one. I went to the local stores in my area looking for a stainless french press and all I ended up finding was overpriced shelf space occupation items which no one in their right mind would purchase. I was able to get my hands on a Freiling and was very unimpressed, especially for the $90 price tag.
Construction on this press seems to be top notch without any rough burrs or edges. If you are coming from a glass press, be prepared to handle some heavy metal. This thing is very beefy. My only real complaint is that the shaft of the plunger is a bit bent. This doesn't affect performance and I have seen no residual grounds in my coffee after pouring so really this is me being nit picky. It still doesn't stop me from giving it 5 stars.

Makes great coffee & keeps it warm.

I have a hot water dispenser in my kitchen and realized that it was silly for me to have a full blown coffee maker. A French press was a perfect solution. This makes a great coffee and keeps the coffee reasonably warm although I have used other thermal containers that did a better job of maintaining temperatures.
Gave as gifts

I purchased 2 French press coffee makers as gifts after purchasing a goose neck kettle and pour over carafe from Coffee Gator. I had a problem with the kettle and Coffee Gator quickly responded to my concern with a replacement. Because of that and the fact that I LOVE my pour over equipment, I felt comfortable buying the French presses as gifts for my sons. They were both very pleased with the quality, function and style of these items.
5 star coffee while camping.

I purchased this French press specifically for overnight trips on the boat bc what is a weekend escape without hot coffee in the morning? I bought course-ground coffee as recommended, followed the directions exactly, and I had a delicious cup of coffee. I like my coffee strong and this did not disappoint. There was a small amount of sediment at the bottom of my cup which I didn't drink. The carafe is very stable, feels heavy duty, and very portable.
Great Press

The double-walled construction keeps coffee warm, but obviously if you don't drink quickly, the coffee is going to oversteep, and the released oils from the press will change in mouthfeel. The fact that it's not glass means you can't see your coffee, so with the weight of the metal (when you're used to glass or plastic containers), its' hard to judge by a simple lift the amount you have left, and more importantly you can't judge your brew.
If you drink it all in a go, or share your coffee with someone, it's perfect. No worries about any of the above. At that, it's a high quality press, the miniature bean container is great for a small camping trip or similar, and such a snug fit.
