Firm handle that does not slip

Used on 2.5 inch door knob where 92 year old mother could not twist. This little lever made all the difference and she can easily open the door now. Such a small thing made such a big difference.
Product is a thick rubber/silicone and is hard to stretch over the door knob to install but once it is on it is nice and firm. Much easier to install by heating up the round part of this handle to make it much more flexible to slip it on the door knob. A hair dryer did the job for me and I would also think hot water would warm it up enough also.

As a disabled person, I cannot imagine putting this on the door knob myself, however my husband was able to do it for me. It is extremely tight which is a bonus given that it needs to be to stay. We are using it for our back door, and it works perfectly, making it so that I can leave the house without any issue even on my worst days. I feel like I have gotten a new lease on my abilities.

My son can pull latches but can't turn knobs yet. These knob adapters (kinda like the usb adapters I have to buy for the useless cords that come with cell phones now) prevent him from "locking" himself inside of rooms with doorknobs. You gotta work it onto the knob; it stretches to fit. Then voila! We're happy with the product.
