The fob that came with my used truck was so weak, you had to be within 3 feet of the vehicle for it to work and even then, the buttons didn't always. Never having had to replace a fob, I wasn't sure if it was necessarily the problem, but it's a fairly affordable gamble, so not knowing what to expect, but hoping for the best, I put up for this bad boy"¦ Holey mess, it did it disappoint! It was super easy to assign and this thing is so strong, I can be in my apartment, like 100 yards away with a brick building between and it still works! Excellent buy if you suffer from any fob related issues.
