I am pre double hip replacement and i was putting washclothes on floor to step on for easy transfers, I almost called my son one day and said he needed to make a round turning disc. for me to transfer without feeling like I was going to fall... I looked on Amazon and searched i think it was Transfer disc. and this popped up. as long as I have grab bars to turn my upper body this works AMAZING!! IT WORKS EXACTLY LIKE I NEEDED. IF I DONT HAVE GRAB BARS IT IS A BIT HARDER TO TURN WITH MY WEAK LEGS AND HIPS. BUT I AM SO EXCITED TO HAVE IT TO TRANSFER INTO MY BED. THANK U FOR WHO EVER INVENTED THIS ....
Worked perfectly

I bought this disc to help my mom get from her bed to the chair. She was unable to step very much, or very well, so I thought if I could get her to stand on this, I could just pivot her 90* to the chair, and it worked just as I planned. It wasn't too spinny at all and supported her weight just fine. I was grateful to find this product.
This didn’t help my dad get out of the car.

This transfer pad didn't really help transfer my 86 year old dad. He is 5"˜5" and 180 pounds. The pad didn't really help as dad"˜s buns hung over the edge of the pad. The pad is thin and firm. So he still had a really hard time turning to get out of the car. Plus he complained that it was hard.
I did find a really good use for it! It sits under my Kureg. I can turn the Kureg and easily fill the water reservoir with a cup. The Kureg sits under a cabinet. Prior to this I was unplugging and pulling the pot our from under the counter to fill the water reservoir.

Not for a small caregiver

In theory the disk is a good addition to use with a difficult transfer. However, it requires a caregiver whom is large enough to do the transfer safely. I purchased this for my ill husband who weights 240lbs. I weigh 130lbs. I have to admit I have used it a few times without assist but I know this is not a wise thing to do. My son is able to transfer his dad well with the disk without a problem.

Me gusto mucho el producto pero hubiese sido mejor si hubiera tenido un poco más de altura
