This mat is very helpful when it comes to moving and turning my husband. It is very sturdy. The handles are soft enough so that he is comfortable, but strong enough so they make moving him easier. This is the second mat I have purchased. The first one is still in good shape, we just wanted a second one to have when we washed the first one.

This is a very good pad to use for bed bound people.there are loops on sides, top and bottom. You can turn a person using the loops instead of their arms or legs, preventing skin tears.
