I have actually stacked 4 of these 2x2. They are large enough to handle Pam spray on top and larger glass spices in the middle. They looked really nice and hold so much. We cook with a lot of random spices. Even some of hte large ones from Harmony House. They all fit with room to spare. So also added my plastic snack bags. I get a lot of compliments on the racks

This served my purpose perfectly. There are some bamboo boxes that fit in the shelves perfectly, and I bought some pick and pull foam to round out the project. I use it as a makeup organizer.

Shelves are 5 1/2" tall and 3" deep. Standard spice bottles (McCormick) are short enough to fit the shelves but are not an efficient use of space because so much of the depth of the shelf is wasted. Some taller bottles do fit, but barely, and have to be slightly wrestled in and out of the rack. Big spice containers (like Costco cinnamon, garlic or black pepper) only fit on the top shelf. The unit is 16" wide and there are 10 metal tabs, 5 each side, for supporting the rack with screws. If you happen to have 16" studs in your walls, this should work well. We don't, so we're going to have to screw this to a backboard in order to provide adequate support to the 10 pounds or so of spices that I've loaded into the unit. I wish this unit EITHER had shallower shelves to fit only standard spice bottles OR shelves this deep should be spaced at 7" tall to accommodate larger items. I also wish a 24" unit was available as that would fit my (and most) interior studs as well as provide more storage space. All that said, this is a pretty, sturdy and well made rack that could find many other uses (bathroom - hook your wire earrings in the front mesh) and I may order another one.
This rack is perfect for the place we wanted to mount it.

This rack is perfect size for the place we wanted to mount it. Looks and feels very sturdy, lots of space for lots of spice containers, including the tall ones. Ours has 39 spice containers in it. Easy to hang and will be easy to clean. Would buy again if needed. Highly recommend to other shoppers.
