This shelving unit is one of the smartest purchases I have ever made! The cubical storage areas are roomy, smooth, and can accommodate bins but they are so well made, yarn does not snag on them. It took me about 45 minutes to put the entire 4x5 unit together (5 cubes x 4 cubes). I have a sewing/quilting/needle craft business and I still am amazed at all the product that I was able to organize and fit into this storage unit! I was able to clean out about 12 plastic storage bins of varying sizes. I can see all my yarn for baby blankets, outer wear, cloth for quilting (all the cloth is now divided into their respective color organization cubes. I cannot say enough about this unit. I absolutely LOVE it and it was SOOOOOO easy to put together.

The wire components are a little on the flimsy side for this type of shelf unit. Also, the corner connectors are too flexible. This plus side to the flexible connectors is that they don't break during assembly (as with the Whitmor unit I've also bought) ... but they also allow the unit to "spontaneously disassemble" if any kind of weight is added to it. (And I'm not talking about a lot of weight here; I'm using this to store only folded clothing and a few shoes.) My solution was to also [in addition to using the connectors] zip-tie all of the grids together to form the cubes and the cubes together to form the complete unit. Time-consuming, but necessary.

This was very easy to put together. I easily snapped it together without even needing the hammer they include. It is sturdy enough for what I am using it for (clothes) and it looks good. The cubes are very large and I was able to easily shape it to fit my closet. I didn't realize how big it was so I have extra cubes leftover. Overall great item!

I bought this set to make a custom rabbit cage and I could not be happier. I threw in some pieces of of old flooring and tomorrow I'm adding a cover on the ramp so he doesn't hurt his paws and now I have a nice little bunny condo!!

It took a while to write my review because I was hoping to store all my books in these (I have a LOT of books), but while these shelves can bear a lot of weight, I decided on a rolling bookshelf that has a lot of floor clearance for my Eufy Robovac. Still, these cubbies are great for storing my art supplies and shoes and what not.

And since I absolutely hate dusting, I decided my cubbies needed a cover. I should have bought one that comes with it, but I was up for experimenting, even though DIY crafts are not my thing. The smaller unit is wrapped in the type of cellophane that they use to wrap large packages. I like that it's clear, but I fear it will attract dust. I tried wrapping the outside, but it wouldn't cling. So, I had to wrap each individual door and that was a pain. I was thinking of doing the entire units that way, but it's bother and it might attract more dust and worse dusting the shelfs might not remove the dust. The second set I covered with a bed sheet and used paper clips to keep it in place. I'm not so concerned with look as I am with being able to remove the sheet to wash it when it's dusty. The third set is in the back of my apartment, where I'm less concerned with dust. I love the doors that Tespo sent for free because I was trying to create 3 separate units. They were incredibly helpful and even sent test photos of how it would look and respond to a large number of books.

On the whole, the units are easy to put together and the pieces do snap together, but things get trickier as I built the larger units. I mean that some center pieces were no longer locked in place and I had to push and pull the wire pieces to get everything to snap in place. Tespo does provide a little wooden hammer, but it wasn't good for anything but making noise. Again, the customer service was great and I would give the product 5 stars, if only the black connectors didn't break and didn't lose their grip after a few uses (connecting and reconnecting).
