Bought this for my bike mainly for my trip from north dakota to virginia for google maps. Fully charges my battery as if it was in the wall and never has drained my battery. I secured mine down with those plastic ties and punctured 2 holes for the mounting but u can use adhesive just not sure how it would hold up for winter riding.. i always leave mine disconnected on the cord unless i need to use it. Doesn't fly around unplugged on the highway for me. Would buy again.

I added this as a water-repellant charger outlet for an electric scooter. Luckily it takes 9-32VDC and with the two small lead acid batteries in series to run the scooter I had approximately 25 volts available. It converted that down just fine and I've charged a number of different devices with no problem. In fact, we used this as a charging station while our power was out during a recent hurricane to keep the kids entertained and our phones topped off.
I don't see the point at all of the SAE connector being so close to the charger body. I hacked that off and just soldered/heatshrinked the wires together permanently since I had to cut them to run through a small grommet. Perhaps if wiring into an actual motorcycle there are small spots these connectors will fit through that the fuseholder will not.

Easily fed through the tank on my 2002 FXDWG. Enough power to charge phone during GPS use (something I have had issues with in the past). Great charger and simple install with multiple mounting options.

Simple, cheap device that does the trick. Nice to charge my phone under my seat while I ride. What do I ride? Good question. A '97 Suzuki Bandit GSF1200S with fairing removed and front converted to a chrome bullet headlight and small windscreen. Also using a DanMoto GP exhaust, Renthal Road Low Bars, Michelin Pilot Road III tires, K&N Air filter, jetted carbs and Bike Master Heated Grips. Such a great machine... and now I can charge my phone under the seat!

Easy to install, the SAE plug makes connections quick and easy. The cord has heavy duty rubber insulation which looks like it will withstand minor abrasion well.
The plug delivers enough power to charge my phone even with GPS running and the screen on full brightness.
The waterproof cap fits ok, but isn't a super tight fit. I feel confident it will stop most rain but would be careful about any pressurized water. (don't hose your bike down)
Mo only real complaint is that the mounting bracket is huge and there wasn't anywhere good to attach it. Instead I just used one of the supplied zip ties and attached it near the ignition.
