Christmas gift for my grandson. It looks fantastic. He's going to have so much fun.

Great looking toy but there are a couple of major things to dislike. First of all it is a nightmare to put together. There aren't many parts but there are over 40 stickers that go into nooks and crannies and over holes and uneven surfaces (ridiculous by any standard). Second, it is extremely fragile and does not stay in either mode (van or base) very well, pieces are thin and may break soon. Thirdly, the design of the interactive pieces (sliding chair, changing container, winch, etc,) is not well thought out. Unfortunately they are rickety, in difficult places to play with and do not work efficiently (the design for the winch is particularly bad, the functionality requires a large amount of two-handed effort/dexterity and cannot be reeled in while something is attached to it). Lastly, the complexity of converting between the two modes is well above the capability of a 4-6 year old. Given the fragility and haphazard design it is far more likely a child will destroy it than get a good chance to play with it.

Honestly we would return the thing if our son did not love it (hence why it is two stars instead of one). He thinks it is cool but relies on us to transform it constantly and work the various parts).

Buyer beware, I would avoid buying this for your child if you value or sanity.

Arrived quickly, it's huge ... much bigger than I expected.

Kids love it! A lot to play with! - takes a little to set up and then break down for smaller kids but is definitely worth it!
