Good, but small shavings.

I really enjoy my ice crusher. If the ice gets caught, you just turn the handle back some then go forward again. The only thing is I wish that ice was just 1/4" larger was they come out. I enjoy chewing on my ice as I drink my beverage and these are more like shavings and melt a little to quickley.

I became addicted to the icy blended chocolate chip drink sold at the ubiquitous chain. I had one 4x a week. Never mind the cost, they were going to kill me. My blender at home wasn't doing the ice chopping job, so I'd take a hammer to ice cubes in a baggie and then blended it with skim milk. Noisy as hell. I can't believe this product exists!! It is built well, simple to maintain, and yes, it does chop the ice. Live long enough, and you get to experience things you've never thought were there.

Interestingly, I purchased this ice crusher to chip ice for my dog who has some kidney issues. He loves chipped ice and this is a way to help him stay hydrated! I can prepare his ice vs. purchasing it at the grocery store. It works well all around!
