Alright so this may be a problem with Amazon, not the manufacturer but I ordered the water-based but received the hybrid with silicone. After talking to customer service I got yet another hybrid bottle and they just gave my money back as they couldn't find the strictly water based. Anyway, enough about that. First of all everyone complains about the smell because it is a very strong pungent chemical smell. However, I have noticed that it does begin to smell like the real thing once it's been rubbed and mixed up. Warming it doesn't seem to fix the smell, so idk if there's just something about it needing to be mixed or what but once it's all stirred up it's very realistic. The taste, however, is sickly sweet. I hate sweet things and was really hoping for a more authentic flavor but I'm probably in the minority there. Even flavorless would have been nice. Anyway the hybrid stuff stays slick forever it seems and is great if you're not using it on silicone toys.

The Smell. Smelling this from the bottle yes there is a hint of a weird fishy smell to it. Once removed from the bottle it actually loses some of the smell and ends up with more scents that are reminiscent of the real thing. For what we are using it for I really don't mind the slightly funky smell. I dont think its as horrible as others make it out to be.

Taste. This isn't meant to eat but if your going down you don't want it to make you gag and it doesn't. Its actually somewhat sweet but don't intentionally eat the stuff.

Lube. Nothing special. Its lube, they almost all dry out to an extent. No issues.

Summary. Cool product. Only company to offer this so give it a try. Your only out 13 bucks if you dont like it. If your lookong for something that REALLY looks like semen the spunk brand is pretty spot on but smells a little chemical and tastes it too.

I will probably buy again. Would be nice if they have a larger size to keep costs down a little since shipping is obviously factored into prime.
