First I was hesitant about these but the refrigerator door kept swinging open and hitting the pantry door. So I just rolled the dice and bought these. Now, in order to muffle the sound, I ended up putting in it a thin slice of foam which keeps the covers from sliding down and it's definitely less loud than without it. It does the trick for me!
