I originally bought my first set about 5 years ago. Still going strong. I wanted another set for my living room window to give me some glow year round that isn't Christmas lights. These are a tad warmer and yellow then my previous set. My previous set is not on for hours on end either, so I'll come back here after a few months of everyday use to update.

I leave these lights plugged in and on in my living room around the clock. I've had them for 2 years now and they are still going strong! They give a perfect warm glow. They can even be trimmed to be shorter without compromising the rest of the lights to lose power. I learned this when my cats chewed through a couple of them and I didn't notice until I caught them playing with a gnawed off section of the lights about 8 inches long... I was relieved to discover the rest of my lights were all in working condition, even the damaged string! I will definitely buy them again when I am in need.
