These are almost 3 dollars a piece from the box stores. These are the real deal. Sooooooo much stronger than traditional hangers. I have some soft facia on my house that was struggling to hold traditional hanger screws. These are stout screws. I just put these every 3 ft and the gutter is so much sturdier than with traditional hangers every 18 inches. So glad I took the expensive ones back and waited for these. They add a tremendous amount of stiffness to the gutter
better than the box store

Great quality and quick to install

Very easy to install. I just placed them right next to my old hangars and left the old ones where they are. My gutters were installed in '86 and have pulled away from the house about 1/4-1/2", sagging and collecting water. These are very simple to install, though I did have to raise up my shingles in order to place the hangar on the gutter. Doing this carefully was no big deal. During installation, there was a very obvious change in how the gutter was hanging. It was pulled up by the hangars quite a bit! No more gaps between the house and the gutter. I was able to install on my 2nd story roof without a ladder rather easily. May buy more for one last gutter to do. Would definitely recommend.

I was installing gutter guards and needed something to secure the gutter to the board that held them in place where the old mounts were failing. The old mounts were just big nails. These brackets had screws which served two purposes. 1) They're screws, so they're not going to separate from the wood as easily as nails do. 2) When tightened, they lift the side of the gutter facing away from the house, keeping them from sagging down.
As mentioned elsewhere in the reviews, these will be next to impossible to install if your gutters are solidly mounted, as you need about an eighth of an inch of room behind the gutter to mount the back half of the bracket. Additionally, the lip of the bracket needs to go into the edge of the gutter facing away from the house and rotated into place in the back from the top down. If roof tiles are already covering the back of the gutters, you'll need to lift the tiles to rotate the bracket into place. I feel that these would install much easier on new gutters that haven't been mounted. But still, these do exactly what they're designed to do and do it well.
Once in place, they're super easy to screw in with a power drill. The preloaded screw makes it simple.
