Functions properly, pain to open

Simply put, it does what it's supposed to.
Not to be super critical, but I figured I'd just mention my only gripe with this thing. Maybe it's just the one that I received, since no one else has even mentioned this issue, but mine was a pain to get open. I knew exactly how it was supposed to open when I purchased it. Obviously, the top slides right off. It was really difficult when I first opened it to put my HDD in, but even more difficult than that when I opened it back up to take pictures. Hence the scuffs you can kind of see in one of the pics. I just wish it was a little smoother to slide the top off. But hey, at least I know my HDDs not going to be coming out of it whenever I move it around.

I bought two and they are both working as advertised. Something I'm using one for now is an additional boot device that has 4 OSes loaded on it. I just choose the boot to USB option and then I choose the OS. It is weird having an 8 way / OctoBoot OS. I have never had more than 4 prior to this. I have one of these using a SSHD and the other a normal SATA HD (both 2.5 laptop size).

The enclosure itself is pretty but I feel like if I were to drop this from any height, it would break or crack. It is merely a plastic HDD holder with a USB controller inside. Would not buy this outside of the clear novelty. I'd say the $15 I paid for it is worth it though.
