Today I was receive my friend's call who I bought this wheel chair for . She was so happy and appreciate that president I gave for the christmas . It was made of magnesium alloy first I see the product on the Amazon . So it is light weight and easy to put together . Also easy to push around if go out with family together .also the chair is good looking . Sturdy and very functional . The foot rests swing out easily and do not fall down . It rolls smoothly and folds up easily for travel too . It was working great for my friend . All in all , I will hight recommended .

After surviving a stroke, this is the first piece of equipment that I feel will actually aid my recovery! Wheelchairs that the hospital (insurance) send us home with are heavy, cumbersome and can leave us thinking we will never be able to maneuver ourselves around. Then 'voila!'-this lightweight miracle was delivered to my door! I thank the company that made it. It's well built, well thought out in design and so light that i can even easily maneuver myself around using just one hand and one foot. Bravo...there is hope. If you use a standard heavy wheelchair- do yourself a great favor and treat yourself to this wonderful lightweight chair, that helps us have some freedom again!
Update: On Black Friday my sisters took me (and my new lightweight wheelchair)to Macys- this wheelchair gets rave reviews from all of us! First; my sister says it was like "lifting nothing" to put it into the back of her SUV. Then, since I am able to cautiously walk with a cane,and only have the use of my left hand- I found that I could walk behind the wheelchair, using it like a walker-because it has breaks on both the handles, which meant I could control the breaking with just my left hand! So, I could wheel myself around- or walk behind it!! Yah! A bit of independence! (And when I used it as a walker, we all found it quite handy to stack the seat full with all our great Black Friday deals! lol) What fun, and truly made possible by this lightweight wheelchair that I highly recommend to everyone who needs a wheelchair. It's so light- it actually encourages you to rise right out of the seat and get to walking.
