I am care giver for 94 year old. I had real problem loading his wheelchair. Bought this feather weight what a difference. Easy loading and out performs the drive brand he had. Easy use in all aspects. Recommend it highly.

My family was taking my dad on a short trip to Southern California via southwest. We wanted this specific model because it was very light and foldable. The seat back and seat cushions come off via Velcro, we ended up taking these with us on the plane. The door rests can be folded out of the extended position but they don't lock in the way so we left them locked when gate checking the wheelchair.
Southwest didn't have any problem opening the chair when removing from under the plane (I folded it on the jetway). My only wish would be a way to fold the anti tip extensions and the footrests and locking them. When putting in and out of the car I would prefer to fold and lock those parts instead of leaving them as is or removing them.
Overall it's a pricey chair but the weight and portability are what you pay for. It definitely worked well for us.
One side comment is that the initial shipment got a little lost, I contacted support and then they sent out another one soon after. The initial one ended up showing up in addition to the second one (second one didn't get Lost and got there pretty quick). Ended up sending the second one back. When calling in my. Alls were answered very quickly and seemed to be a US based customer seevice

I researched many chairs before purchasing the Featherweight. It arrived early and I am so pleased! It's very sturdy and comfortable. I don't spend extended time in my chair and I use it primarily in crowded places such as restaurants and big stores. It packs nicely and fits in our ordinary car trunk and there's still space for groceries. My husband is very happy that it only weighs 19 lbs with the wheels on, compared to my older chair which weighs at least 40 lbs. Even though the Featherweight is very light, I feel safe and secure. I'm really glad I found this wonderful wheelchair.
