Very very pleased with this White Noise Sound Machine! Out of all the sounds I only have issue with the Cricket sound. It's just one Cricket Chirp over and over and sounds unnatural but I can't sleep during Cricket sounds so it does not affect me at all!! The other 19 sounds are great and I'm hoping if I put it in my one daughter's room I can get her to stop using that fan. I always worry about her sinuses etc. and don't like her sleeping with it but she loves the fan. Now if that doesn't work I'm going to steal it back for those rare moments when I take a nap while hubby is taking care of our noisy, very noisy toddler. Otherwise I'll just borrow it from her each time because trust me, when the baby is playing with daddy I can not usually get any sleep!! What I really love about this for my daughter is is that she can put it on all night long in continuous mode instead of having to use the timer. The timer would be perfect for when the baby is taking naps though. I think I might have to get a second one for that purpose!! It would be perfect for sleep training! When my sister used to babysit my now almost 18 year old son she used to use a sound machine for his naps. They are the best thing. I was using one for each of the kids when they were born but the one I had finally bit the dust so the baby is no longer used to one but considering getting a 2nd one for her.

This is very "impressive" and so worth every penny! No more playing cassette tapes anymore. The sound machine is so clear to hear. I enjoy the water sounds, campfire & streams the most but the BEST one that I have started to use the most is the BIRDS! I love to listen to birds and this helps me get to sleep so much better now. I have to wear a c-pap at night to help with my breathing. The volume can be easily turned up and still very clear on any volume. The timer is a great option, I LOVE it since I can set it and I don't have to worry about turning it off. This is one thing my husband and I both enjoy very much. What an awesome gift this will make for anyone. I usually don't review a product & put 5 stars on it but the SOUNDS are so life like REAL!!!!

This is the most impressive sound machine I've ever owned, and I've gone through several. I'm mostly using the rain and ocean sounds, but I don't hear any discernible loop in any of the sounds, which is a wonderful surprise. I'm using this at the office to drown out noise in the hall so I can concentrate, and it does the job admirably.

I've tried several different types of white noise machines and this one is the best I've used. I love the choices of sounds and the volume controls. It's easy to use and the very pale light makes it non-intrusive.

This has been a very welcomed addition to my bedroom. I used to live in a very secluded residential neighborhood and then recently moved to an apartment downtown. I was not used to the noise pollution and it was very hard to sleep. This little guy has been great! I have only used the white noise setting, which is great, but I do feel like I can hear something in the background of the track. It is not enough to deter me from sleeping, just something I have noticed on this one setting. I will play around with the other sounds and see if that is a recurrent thing or not. Even with that, it is still amazing and I don't think that I can go without it now.
