Best Yamaha

Best Yamaha ever! Love it and would always recommend to friend to buy Yamaha (Especially RX-A2070 for all the features)
Incredible sounding and rock solid built receiver!!!

That's my fourth receiver. I've had Harman-Kardon, Marantz, Onkyo before and the Yamaha is so far the best of all. I can't believe what my ears are hearing. The sound is so much clearer and detailed, the bass is tighter. The surround effects are better distributed to my surround and hight speakers. I'm pairing the receiver with Klipsch RP280F, RP250C, RP240S and HSU VTF2 MK4 subwoofer. No problems with passing through 4K HDR and Dolby Vision formats from my Apple TV. Having built-in Tidal is a nice feature. The Music Cast app is great and very easy to use. The menu is very well organized. Also the receiver is very massive, rock solid and well built. It's like a tank. I knew for many years Yamaha has been famous with their quality built receivers but I didn't listen to the reviews and kept buying different brands. Now I'm realizing what I have been missing. If you are looking for a quality high end receiver look no further! You won't go wrong with Yamaha Aventage series!
great HT amp

Works as advertised, and a definite upgrade to 4G from my old Yamaha AV-RX2010
Yamaha AVENTAGE has the ADVANTAGE

More to come as I explore the ins and outs but after setting up my 5.1.4 Dolby Atmos system and test driving the Arc, HDMI inputs and running some 4K UHD's on my Xbox One S through this puppy, I have nothing but praise. Easy to connect to wi-fi network. A/V control phone app is just awesome. The menus are a little complex, especially after having test driven the new Yamaha's with the lesser (but quite awesome!) TSR-5830 and enjoying how simple it was to navigate. But I'm sure I'll get used to it in no time. This puppy is HUGE, but the craftsmanship is beautiful and it looks great on my shelf. If you are not going for full 9.2 or 5.1.4 Dolby Atmos, or for 3-zone home control, this guy is probably overkill, and you should consider the RX-A1070 or lower. I'll post more as I continue to dig into it but for now, I'll say, if you are considering this or other similarly priced or higher priced receivers, get this one. I previously had 3 great Sony receivers over the last 20 odd years but really didn't like the new ones while looking to upgrade to 4K pass-through and full Dolby Atmos and DTS:X. I tried a Denon and a Marantz as well but I gotta say, this Yamaha really takes the cake for the cost.
