I preform startups and repairs on backup generators in all kinds of weather. I love the length and flexibility of this coat vs.. the old style rubber suits that are so stiff. Customers and contractors after observing me working in this coat ask where I bought it and the name brand. I have to stop long enough to email them the link to amazon page. They like me have been looking for a rain coat like this for years. I have used this from light rain to down pours. Sleet to heavy snow. On cold days in the winter I like that it helps to slow the wind down as the wind is what really wicks the heat out of you. I love the black tip sleeves as grease and dirt does not show like on the other yellow rain coats I have Owned . I am 6'2" tall and 250 lbs. I ordered a 3x to make room for extra clothing. It comes down between my midcalf and feet. I love it. I will but again when I need another.

Size seems to run true. Plenty big enough to wear multiple layers underneath. Arms and shoulder provide adequate movement without restrictions. 5 stars for the product overall, but minus one star for zipper. Getting zipped was a bit difficult. No, I do not have any physical condition that would cause my difficulties. Zippers are butted together facing different directions. One zipper is easy, the other is a bit trying.
Length is great for those heavy down pours. Now my lap isn't getting soaked along with underwear from too short of rain jacket, just my calves. I'm 6'2" and it rides just about my knees. Yes I know there are pants out there, but can't stand wearing them. Has a hidden attached hood, that I've yet to use. Nice quality as far as material and stitching. Will update if needed. Would buy again.

I bought this because I'm tired of being disappointed by pricey, "breathable" packable rain jackets aka "technical shell jackets" letting me down. All lightweight rain jackets wear out, this one starts out water proof and is affordable enough to replace. I commute in the dark on my bicycle all year, use this as a "technical shell jacket", and appreciate the high viz on arms, as the back can be covered by a pack. When the storm is coming, I rarely have time to don rain pants before getting wet, but one large jacket is the perfect hunker down item. On less wet days, this coat is long enough to displace rain pants and/or fenders. The bottom-up zipper is crucial for use on a bicycle - and I'm considering adding some leg straps like the cowboy/horse riding jackets sometimes use. The only feature I miss is pit vents. I would pay $20 more for zippered arm pit vents.

It's lightweight and sturdy enough for light construction work. The big front pockets are way down in the black area, so they are hard to reach.

I like how long the rain jacket is. It really keeps you from getting wet. Especially since it has a hoodie thing for your head. My husband loves this since he has to work even in Rainy days . Supper helpful from keeping most of the clothes from getting soaking wet
