We ordered this unit, but I did not open it right away. We have to borrow a piece of equipment to remove the old mailbox post. When we did open the box to install it I noticed the top did not have holes to install the door. I emailed the company and they sent a new top to us the next day. I could not be more pleased with this mailbox! It is very well made and so unique! Multiple people have asked us where we got it, even the post office delivery person said it was cool! I will purchase products from this company in the future for sure. One of the best home improvement purchases I have made! We had a really hard rain recently and no water got in this unit. I just love this little mailbox!

Our old mailbox is routing, so we decided to get this one. Yes, even though it is not metal, we thought this would be easier to keep clean and yet sturdy and interesting to look at rather than a plain old mailbox. Comes with stickers so you can put your address on there. Seems heavy duty enough as it goes over the pole that you already have. We live in a wooded area so this goes well with that.
