The quietest unit I've ever slept through! Seems to be extremely efficient. I certainly would recommend this to my friends and family (and I have!). No problems at all so far. Hopefully it will last for many years. As far as I'm concerned, this is the best unit you could buy for a bedroom.

I can't say enough good things about this air conditioner. It killed me to cough up the extra money for this Haier Serenity Ultra Quiet model, but it was more than worth the money. First and foremost, it works great as an air conditioner. This model cools the room quickly and evenly, with the incredible bonus of being Ultra Quiet. I am so amazed. If the TV is on, you can't tell the A/C is on. I plan on purchasing another next summer to start replacing my old rattletrap A/C's.
I have always had very good luck with the Haier brand, which is why I chose it, but the addition of the Ultra Quiet feature is beyond superb.

Absolutely love this thing. You can hear the compressor but overall it is exceptionally quiet.

Machine is quiet, and does a good job keeping the apartment cool. The only draw back is that the vent opening points up instead of being adjustable.

Totally worth the price. I'm extremely pleased with this AC. It's not exactly silent but the closest I've ever gotten to it
