I have tried many kinds of aerators over 30 years and this is the best one that really works great and immediately on both red and especially the New Zealand SV blanks with the acidic grapefruit bite=really smooth's the bite & aroma so you can serve immediately. Does not significantly alter the aroma and taste of older aged soft reds but softens the market young reds. Caution = the large size and weight makes the bottle top heavy & subject to tipping over if not careful - so far I am 0/40.

Easy to use. Works well. Wish it could be cleaned at the sink by just rinsing it instead of having to put it in a wine bottle filled with water.
