I'm a regular rower and use Concept2 particularly in the off-season. I've clocked a lot of meters in January already(over 230k) and I was looking for some relief. First, this pad is small and doesn't fully cover the Concept2 seat, which may be part of the problem. It's very firm and after two days ( about 30,000 meters rowing) I'm returning this to Amazon. I had more discomfort than if I used no pad at all. I'll look for something else for the long indoor off-season still to come.

the rowers loved the pad. it is the correct width; too thick a pad will change stroke geometry. The material reminds me more of dense sorbo-thane material than "memory" foam. It fits well on a Concept 2 erg.
