Pain to install but sturdy rack.

I bought this to use on my mountain bike that I use to commute to school. My only complaint is that it doesn't come with the tools you will need to put it together. It requires two different sizes of Allen wrench and I had to hardest time finding them, I finally made due with the tools I had but it was difficult and took far too long. Otherwise, so far it's a sturdy rack and has made my commute much easier.

If used with side braces this rack works well. This rack should not be used without the braces because the quick release bolt and seat post clamp are not able to be tightened enough to keep the rack from pivoting around the seat post. Also like other reviews I have a problem with the quick release handle rubbing the inside of my leg while riding, also the reflector came off after the first couple road bumps.
For the price it's not bad. But I would spend a little extra and get a rack that can be used with or without the side braces. Especially for a full suspension bike.

I had purchased 4 of these for our 185 mile C & O Canal Bike trip with our Boy Scout Troop. 1 went on mine, and 3 on my boys bikes. Mine was the only lasted the entire trip. However I did my best to avoid fallen branches and pot holes on the trail. I know they did not try at all to avoid any. I watched as they bounced theirs down the stairs crossing the Potomac river stairs. We all had 30 or so lbs on each rack and had they been used for normal asphalt riding, I am sure they would have lasted a lot longer. For the price, I could not have expected any different.
