This is a very solid post stake. I'm using it to reset my mailbox post since the soil and weed eaters have deteriorated the bottom of the post. It took a sledgehammer to pound it into the ground about 33 of its 36" stake. But that's ok because I wanted it a few inches about the ground so the weed eaters wouldn't keep hitting the metal securing the bottom of the post. It's very sturdy and secure holding the post and the mailbox. Very happy with the results.
