I got this barbed wire to protect my tree from raccoons climbing it and getting to my roof. Easy to use since it is not such a heavy gauge. The spikes are quite sharp and really catch on anything and everything. I do not want to hurt the raccoons I just wrapped the wire loosely to keep them away. They should get the idea pretty quickly. I would just say to people do not do what they show in the head for this Like wrap it around a baseball bat. If you hit someone with a bat wrapped with barbed wire you will most definitely go to jail. Not a wise idea. Use it for what it was made for and you will be quite satisfied.
