So yes the leds are awesome! It was a quick and easy install after we got the right play field cut! Used no bracket here! i am not a track ball user but this one felt very good in the golf games I got to test it on. The customer really loves it! Will buy another one soon for our demo kit! Hope to sell more this add on really makes the retro cabs come alive!

Trackball works perfectly. I have a Rasberry Pi running Retropie, and it worked seamlessly after plugging in the USB connection, with no additional setup. Subtracted one star as I had to purchase a specialized 12V connector to light the LED trackball. Not sure why it couldn't have been powered by the USB, and that wasn't clear in the description.
Doesn't include mounting bracket or LED power supply.

This is a solid quality trackball that functions very well. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because they don't tell you that the mounting bracket and LED power supply aren't included. Add another $40 for those & shipping to your budget. Otherwise It worked plug in play with a windows pc and mame emulator. Mounting is weird. Hope you know someone handy to get this installed properly.

Purchased the trackball for my Retropie arcade table, it came quickly. i recommend getting the mounting plate, you can use any 12vdc adapter you have to run the lights. i was able to get my trackball roms running in mame-libretro by first editing the config file. The easiest way i found was to find the retropie on my network and select the config file. next select the all folder and find the file called retroarch-core-options.cfg and open with a free program called notepad++. add the lines mame2003-mame_current_mouse_enable = "enabled" and mame2010_mame_current_mouse_enable = "enabled" and save. You can then add roms to the libretro folder and they will work. i ended up editing the controls to map the buttons to certain games like missile command so the fire buttons are on the lower set of buttons for player 1. it took some work to get running but once you do it's a lot of fun.
