MUCH assembly required. You had better reserve one whole afternoon to put it together and the only instruction is a not entirely clear drawing. Further I am missing one screw and it is not something that I can get at HD and I do not know how to contact the seller to get one. I'll figure something out. After spending hours putting it together I am not sending back. The whole afternoon assembly time is for someone like myself who considers himself something of a handyman. Average householder is not going to make it.

Had to put together myself, which was expected. All parts present, but 1 piece was slightly bent so could not screw it into pre-drilled hole.....used wood glue to secure and so far it's good. Steps were a bit narrower than I envisioned, but still serves a purpose. For the price, good.

This was what I wanted. It s a little stiff to assemble, the tiny allen wrench is hard to use, but if you have a screw driver with that type of attachment it would be easier. Once it was together, it was exactly what I wanted.
