Great for lofts

I bought this to get up to my lofts in my tiny house. I wanted something that was not a ladder but more like a staircase but could be stored in a corner so as not to take up space. This fit the bill perfectly. My loft is 8 ft above the floor so the tallest version of this is just high enough to make it there. I recommend it.

Did I want a 5 step ladder with the 6th being a tool holder or a true 6 step?
I'm not on ladders much but I did want a ladder that is light weight and easy to move around. I'm getting rid of my super heavy "professional" grade ladders as they are so cumbersome.
I looked at the 5 step plus the 1 being a tool/parts holder. The 5 plus 1 was about 5 lbs. heavier. This 6 step is super light weight exactly what I wanted. Do I think I would ever stand on the 6th step? No. I don't know anyone that would stand on the very top of any ladder. But with that being said it does allow the top step to be used as a tool/parts holder but 5 lbs lighter.
For me, it's a game changer. No more stretching and reaching for things. This ladder easily brings me up to what I need to reach.
If you're needing to use a ladder a lot and you are in need of a heavy duty ladder, I would get a heavier gauge ladder. This ladder is for a homeowner who needs an occasional ladder to do chores around the house or outside. Perfect for my needs.
