This product works great and the magnets are strong. My ac vents are right under the window so my curtains annoyingly blew wildly every time the ac kicked on. (This has gone on for years.) Problem solved in about 30 seconds after getting these vent deflectors! My curtains hung still and have remained so ever since! And these things are nearly invisible. A great product - I highly recommend.

I'm happy with this product. I bought a second set. The two halves don't connect with each other perfectly, hence my headline/subject. To cover what I consider a standard sized vent, the two halves are almost totally apart and the connection is a bit flimsy.
When all is said and done, these have been working perfectly for several months, so I'm ecstatic. Don't give these air deflectors the cold shoulder, because you won't be getting cold air blown straight at you anymore!

As someone rightly mentioned these are "˜Frost King' brand, BUT they absolutely will hold with a ceiling mount. The magnets on the 2 that I received are extremely strong and have no problem support the weight. Just what I was looking for. Anyone having issues may have an incompatible material on their vent.
Box says for floor vent.

I just received this today and while it's working fine at the moment, the box clearly says it's for a floor vent, but the amazon listing said ceiling. I'm a little worried that the magnets may not hold and the deflector could land on someone's head.
This is a very good, aesthetically pleasing solution to AC/heating registers blowing hot and cold air directly on you.

The magnets are plenty strong enough, the plastic readjusts to fit my (or any other wall/floor vents) I have seen. Since my writing desk has a vent right under it, this is essential for having keeping my feet from freezing in the summer when the AC is on, or having to skip wearing pants in the winter when the heat is on. The only quibble with this is that the plastic could be higher to to move the air further up or down. The vent near my bed is nearly perfect , but the one under my desk still wound blowing cold air into my lap instead of on my feet. I managed to solve this my moving my desk out and attaching a board to the undercarriage of the desk to continue moving the air up over the desk. So very good, but could be a little better.
