I really like my alarm clock. I use it for waking up- does a great job. I use it to listen to music when I need to pop in the bedroom and make the bed or fold laundry for 5 minutes. The sound is more powerful and clearer than typical small alarm clock radios I have had. I love that I can turn on the night light feature, not necessarily using it while I sleep but after dusk when my room is dark and I don't want to bump into things. What may present a problem for people who are not used to digital products and technology is that Emerson has designated 10 buttons to be used for 20 things. Also, though the various functions are indeed labeled, it is difficult to see when it is dark or you're not looking down at the buttons. Also, certain functions cannot be done while other functions are in use; for example, one must remember not to play the radio before setting the alarms. I am pretty tech savvy and there have been multiple times I have shouted at the thing. I must say the BT feature is awesome- it comes on immediately, if I have already paired my device in the past. Enjoy!

Like the overall features of the alarm. The blue light is too bright at night time. Lights up the room. If you want to use the alarm for a bright night light this is the one you want.

Bought this to replace current aging clock. The alarm volume cannot be set, as stated in the manual. Called the customer service number, the rep stated that there is an error in the manual. The alarm volume will continue to get louder the longer you don't snooze or turn off the alarm.

One big drawback of digital volume buttons, as opposed to an old school analog knob, is that it's often just not possible to play the radio quietly. If I'm laying in bed with my head near this radio, the lowest possible volume setting is far too loud.

Bought this item for my child for christmas, he just loves it! He is 10, and was easily able to learn how to set the alarm and he can charge his tablet and other devices.
