They are well built like they will last years with proper cleaning and care. Sturdy full tang. Various blade points from straight cut with serrated portion which is the whole blade. Might buy a backup or consider it as a gift.

I bought this product thinking it was just a knife holder, I didn't know it actually came with knives. I have a knife set similar to this one on the magnetic holder now and it's great. The knives that came work it are just a bonus. I love the wooden magnetic holder.

As a former Chef, I don't like using a knife block to store my knives. However, I moved into an apartment where the kitchen wall it tiled. So I can't hang a magnetic bar. This holds the 5 knives that I use often. And this doesn't take up a lot of space on my counter. This is definitely a 'best buy.'

Been using it for a couple weeks... Like it but not in love. Magnets not quite strong enough for shorter Paring knives... Wish it was a bit longer to handle more than 4 knives (including a chef and Japanese style chopping vegetable I know they're broad, but just a few more inches would ROCK!!). Shorter knives can't really be used as magnets are farther down on the surface.. if you can get them to stay the magnetic pull is weaker. Great product overall glad I bought it, just need a second and decide how to split my knives...
